 kandahar?
Hi,can anyone tell me about a jug I have,it has the following incised on the base:Kandahar By Shorter and Son Stoke on Trent England. The jug has a colourful floral pattern that looks like needlepoint, against a cream coloured background on an incised grid-like ground, it is 5 1/2" tall.I have been unable to find other pieces in this pattern so I wondered if it is uncommon?,I would also be interested in when it was made and who was the designer.
THANK YOU!, Chris

 Green plate/bowl
Whilst clearing out my late parents under-stairs cupboard, I discovered a light green ceramic dish. It is circular and has low rounded sides. On its base there is a Shorter & Son Ltd,Stoke-on-Trent, England stamp and inscribed into the base is 708 m/s. There are also 3 slightly raised bits from manufacture. Please could you help identify and offer any further information and/or hint at value.
